Compensation: $63.34 to $73.34 hourly
A prestigious hospital in Greater Los Angeles is searching for a Senior Compliance and Privacy Analyst. The Compliance and Privacy Analyst will need to have a full cycle experience in healthcare compliance, utilization, and healthcare operations. The Compliance and Privacy Analyst must be familiar with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy. The Compliance and Privacy Analyst will assist in the coordination, research, education and resolution of compliance issues identified by the organization under its formally established Compliance Programs. The compliance and privacy analyst will administer the day-to-day operations and compliance tasks and train departments on compliance initiatives from areas such as nursing hours, CMS, and OSHA. The compliance role will be communicating with cross function departments on compliance updates.
The Senior Compliance and Privacy Analyst will be responsible for the reviewing privacy incident reports in performing the investigation, mitigation, risk assessment, and documentation through their GRC system. The Senior Analyst will research privacy topics, review current policies, and draft patient notification of CDPH letters. This is a fantastic opportunity that can start immediately.
Job Requirements:
– At least 5+ years of compliance experience working at a healthcare organization.
– Strong understanding of reviewing risk assessment and hospital privacy initiatives
– Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
