Sr. Business / Data Analyst and Data Analyst (2 Roles open)

They have two roles, one is more Sr level/client facing. They will be hands on but also interact with the client. The roles are data heavy, so they want someone with a strong data background and ability to work with stakeholders.
The candidate has to be someone to gather requirements and be able to explain data, perform QA, and also has some database skills (Excel, simple lookup queries in SQL, etc.), and who understands data methodology/how data work, how data validations work.
The more senior person would have all of the above, but also would be able to provide data modeling, data definitions/dictionaries, data architecture direction for clients
Must haves:
- 4+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst – experience with research, program reporting, or similar data collection efforts
- Experience with administration tools like SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence or similar systems
- 2+ years’ experience working with database or scripting language
- Experience with client interaction
- Lead or experience managing 1-2 people while being hands on.
- SQL experience
- 2+ years’ experience working with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
- Ability to define own work processes
- Experience conducting and leading interviews to gather and validate requirements
Nice to haves:
- 1+ years’ experience working with statistical tools such as R and Python
- Familiarity with the software development cycle paired with an ability to define/document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives
- Government projects experience
