The Sr.
BI System Analyst will work directly with the Global Supply Chain organization and other IT architects to align modern BI technologies with business requirements!
Using data analytic and business expertise, the candidate will coordinate multi-disciplinary requirements, governance, solution, schedules, and prioritization for the organization.
You will combine an eye for business, technology, and innovation to organize data, enable insights, and help create a modern data-driven organization at a fast pace and agile environment.
This position requires the candidate to be a solid great teammate and results-oriented.
High sense of integrity, good interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, and proven track record to work with different partners and technologies are essential qualities.
You should have thorough experience with SAP supply chain data and can generate reports using modern analytic tools.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Partner with global Supply Chain Business Partners and other IT Solution Architects to gain a deep understanding of the business processes and analytic requirements.
You will also establish and maintain business communications, project prioritizations, and accountable for delivering quality solutions on time using Cepheid ITs methodologies, security, and governance model.
Being responsible for business requirements, writing functional specifications, designing data models, and implementing solutions that drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results, are vital to the success of this position.
Other responsibilities will include:
Participate in a daily agile methodology to promote a disciplined process and faster adaptation.
Involve in defining technical standards and governance.
Translate business requirements into technical design documentation and effectively working with the offshore development team
Responsible for designing, developing, and testing BI solutions that involve databases, data warehouses, ETLs, SQL queries, reports, and dashboards.
Research & evaluate new analytic and integration solutions such as Data Lake platform, Data Management, and Data Quality.
Help build prototypes and innovations using modern analytic platforms and tools.
Help drive data quality and data governance and participate in Analytic COE.
Solve data and performance issues to support the reliability and scalability of BI systems.
Align with Software Change Controls and promotion process defined by Software Quality
Mentors junior staff and conduct business user training as needed
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
8+ years demonstrated ability in the IT profession focused on Supply Chain Analytics.
7+ years with 3 or more of the following solutions: SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WEBI), SAP HANA, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Snowflakes, and AWS.
Minimum of 5+ years in SAP Business Intelligence
Good written and verbal communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Excellent analytical problem solving and fact-finding skills
Strong relationship-building skills, internally within IT and with business users
Ability to multi-task and manage time and resources efficiently and effectively.
