Sr. Benefits Analyst

We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Benefits Analyst to join the Total Rewards team to be the lead on the administration, reporting, vendors, and systems of 2U’s 401k plan, lead all Benefits and Compliance activities, while also assisting in all other aspects of Health and Welfare benefits.

Key Role and Responsibilities: Assist with the administration of the employee benefit programs, including health and welfare insurance plans, 401(k) retirement plan, and wellness initiatives Identify and champion process and program efficiencies and opportunities for streamlining and improvement Provide support for leaves of absence & medical accommodations; liaison between employees and HRBPs Resolve employee benefit issues and discrepancies Assist with the development and maintenance of employee benefits communication materials including plan documents, company intranet, and open enrollment Key team member for Open Enrollment process including communication development, testing and deployment Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and OSHA reporting Process benefit and leave of absence related tasks in Workday Assist Benefits Team with ensuring compliance with laws and regulations applicable to employee benefit programs including but not limited to COBRA, ERISA.

HIPAA, ACA, FMLA Work on special projects involving testing, reporting, and ad-hoc plan audits Wellness Leads a comprehensive wellness program.

Coordinates, plans, and facilitates health and fitness activities and programs for employees.

Develops promotion and publicity plans for wellness and fitness programs throughout the organization.

Compiles statistical summaries of participant data, class attendance, and equipment inventories to ensure proper detailed program evaluation.

Assists the Senior Manager in the development of budget, policies, and procedures relevant to the operation of the wellness program.

Provides educational presentations and training programs.

Other This individual will work on various benefit projects to monitor effectiveness and provide recommendations and solutions while serving as an expert on 2U’s benefit plans.

Participates in and utilizes external industry benefit surveys to collect and analyze information to determine company’s competitive position and making recommendations Manage Tier-2 responses to questions submitted to HR service desk Serve as back-up to Benefits Analysts responsible for 2U’s other health and welfare plans Participate in ongoing Workday product releases and testing and work with other members of the Benefits team on Open Enrollment Assist in preparing of employee communications related to 2U’s benefits and wellness plans Provide support and other duties as assigned Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required 4-6 years of progressive HR experience including strong background in benefits and wellness Strong data and analytical skills Experience in U.S.

regulatory and compliance matters (other countries desirable) Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to benefit programs, company policies and operations Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong project management skills and the ability to work in quickly-changing environment Must be a self-starter and comfortable in an energetic, collaborative, fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel Acquisition experience (preferred) About 2U Inc.
