Duties: Under general direction of the Benefits Supervisor, this position researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers corporate benefit policies, plans and programs that are cost-effective, fit within the bank’s rewards philosophy, and are competitive in the industry.This position also reviews, researches, analyzes, evaluates and configures the company’s online benefits enrollment system for alignment with program provisions and optimal user experience.Participates in program design, implementation and communication. Makes recommendations for program changes or enhancements.Familiar with a variety of benefits concepts, practices, procedures and regulations.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Interacts with all levels of employees.Acts as a direct liaison with vendors, consultants and auditors. May lead and direct the work of others.Primary focus of responsibility is health & welfare plan administration and related online administration system.

Experience: Experience with benefits plan design and interfacing with vendors and service providers.Demonstrated experience with administration of various HR software applications and/or online benefits administration systems.Good knowledge and demonstrated experience administering ERISA health & welfare plans.Demonstrated experience of HR systems applications, implementation, configuration, and report-writing.Good knowledge and familiarity with benefit plan concepts, laws, administrative practices and processes including IRCSection 125 Cafeteria plans, Section 129 discrimination testing, and Affordable Care Act requirements.Good knowledge of notice and disclosure requirements (e.g., SMMs, SPDs), discrimination testing, regulatory notices,government filings, etc.Experience and familiarity with ERISA, EGTRRA, USSERA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA.Strong organizational and problem solving skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience using automated benefits administration systems such as UltiPro, ADP or PeopleSoft a plus.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to build cross-functional collaboration; customer service oriented.Effective written and verbal communication skills, good presentation skills a plusAbility to interact with all organizational levels and tailor communications accordingly.Ability to maintain confidential information and act with the highest level of integrity.
