In this vital Sr.

Associate Scientist role as part of Amgen’s Translational Immunology and Safety Sciences group based in South San Francisco, CA, you will independently conduct immune related safety assessments to support Oncology, Inflammation, Cardio-metabolic disorders pipeline projects.

Collaborate closely with scientists within the Translational Safety organization Design, perform and analyze in vitro assays to support pipeline projects and contribute to project development Perform literature-based evaluation Present work to cross-functional teams Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.

The scientific professional we seek is innovative with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications: Masters degree and 3 years of research experience in the field of immunology, immune-oncology, molecular biology or relevant field of study Bachelors degree and 5 years of research experience in the field of immunology, immune-oncology, molecular biology or relevant field of study Preferred Qualifications: PhD with a research focus in the field of immunology, immuno-oncology, molecular biology or relevant field of study Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in the field of immunology, immuno-oncology, molecular biology or relevant field of study Prior experience performing cellular immunological techniques, including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD and in vitro immune cell assays Strong ability to independently initiate and drive projects, and intellectually contribute to the project development Encouraged to have basic immunology training and strong cellular immunology and cell culture technical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly motivated, creative and collaborative Demonstrate a track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement in the area of immunology Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
