If you want to be challenged to up your game and make a difference, then join us in giving the world reason to cheer Job Summary This Sr Analyst Expense Audit’s main objective is to identify and deter potential waste, abuse or fraud within AEG’s Travel and Expense (T&E) and Purchasing Card (P-Card) programs by analyzing expense patterns and submissions and enforcing company policies. Essential Functions Manage a workbench consisting of T&E/P-Card exceptions generated by an automated auditing tool (Oversight); research exceptions within Oversight, Concur, and AMEXs Work portal Analyze individual exceptions and exception patterns to determine cause and intent; correctly differentiate between negligence, abuse, and fraud Communicate through the workbench/email to employees to resolve exceptions and educate them about company policies and procedures to influence future behavior Document both routine findings and specific cases or investigations Recommend changes to systematic audit rules within Concur and Oversight and to company policies and procedures Gain and maintain advanced knowledge of company policies, systems, and processes to assist in analysis Perform audits/reviews of Accounts Payable data/systems and other areas as needed Required Qualifications BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Accounting, Finance or related area 5 years of related experience in Travel and Expense Audit Experience working for a large and complex international organization Hands-on experience with Concur or similar expense tracking tool Hands-on experience with Oversight or similar audit tool Experience working in/with a Finance organization / Accounts Payable group is a plus Experience working with a company card program such as American Express is a plus Experience in the entertainment and/or sports industry is a huge plus Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, filters, etc.) Ability to think critically, make assessments, recognize patterns, develop conclusions, and clearly document/explain those conclusions. Advanced analytical and reasoning skills are required.
