Specialty Equipment Operator

Specialty Equipment Operator Betteravia Farms/Alco Harvesting is seeking a detail-oriented individual for a full time specialty equipment operator position.

Specialty operators play a key role in the utilization of up and coming advanced agricultural equipment in a variety of farming operations.

Job Description:
· Transport and operate a variety of automated equipment in an outdoor agriculture environment
· Perform machine calibrations and inspections daily
· Perform basic maintenance and repairs to assigned equipment
· Constantly monitor progress and job quality throughout field and make changes as required without direct oversight
· Assess and report job quality upon completion and communicate accordingly
· Work 40-60 hours per week Requirements:
· Work in an outdoor environment safely around heavy machinery and chemical applications
· Use computer or tablet to manipulate machine functions and reporting
· Display a high level of focus and attention to detail
· Observe all company policies and laws that govern equipment transportation and possible chemical hauling.

· Must be authorized to work in the US
· Must have valid driver’s license
· Bilingual is a plus
