Definition and overall management of the program scope is required. The IPT Leader will demonstrate a technical knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication, test, and risk management. This knowledge will be applied to properly balance technical performance, programmatic constraints, and risk.  20% – The IPT Leader will ensure the scope of work is completed within cost and schedule constraints by applying management tools to plan, monitor, and implement corrective action as required. Definition and overall management of the program scope is required. 15% – The IPT Leader will ensure all subcontractors meet program requirements. 10% – Prepare presentations and lead teams in presentations to peers, customers, and managers 5% – The IPT Leader will support capture activity for the contract follow-on efforts.Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 7 years of applicable experience in the development or fabrication of mechanical components. Strong background in hardware development with familiarity from conceptual design through component fabrication and test desired.   Candidate should also have demonstrated successful management of technical, cost and schedule goals. Candidate should also have experience in dealing with suppliers and in leading cross-functional work teams.  May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level.  Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement. Being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 may be a condition of employment at Aerojet Rocketdyne. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. This position may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
