Aevum, Inc.
is an American technology company that designs, develops, and sells autonomous air, space, and package transportation services.
The company focuses on autonomous technologies, rapid logistics, e-commerce, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
Our Social Mission Aevum, Inc.
was founded to democratize the access to space and directly enable space-based assets that can connect the other half of the world that currently do not have access to the internet.
We believe that the right technologies deployed in space can help make the world better and transcend the unity of humankind.
Spaceflight Analyst, Entry-Level Aevum’s Ravn X Systems Engineering, Assembly, Integration, and Test (SAIT) team is offering a rare opportunity for an analyst to be an apprentice to the Chief Engineer of the Ravn X to learn and operate Aevum’s proprietary analysis methods for analyzing and planning the flight trajectories of the Ravn X autonomous vehicle.
The ideal candidate has an insatiable appetite for rigorous learning
– especially for mathematical analysis of real-world aerospace systems.
As the spaceflight analyst, and seeker of the “truth”, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure successful flights of the Ravn X vehicle against commercial, Department of Defense (DoD), and research & development (R&D) requirements and objectives.
You will use your strong working knowledge of mathematical methods to analyze, simulate, and solve real-world flight problems and provide solutions to various technical teams.
Through math models and simulation, you will discover the hidden dynamics and inter-workings of complex systems and share your insight with the rest of the engineering team to help guide autonomous vehicle development activities.
Prior experience is not required for this position but rock-solid knowledge of physics and math methods is a firm prerequisite.
Aevum will provide all the necessary training; however, the most successful candidate must be an extraordinary critical problem solver and relentlessly determined to contribute to a world-class team on the road to flying the world’s largest autonomous UAS for space launch; long hours in the office toiling over research papers and technical reports is likely your best chance of success in this career track.
The Spaceflight Analyst, Entry-Level position is a part of the SAIT team and reports directly to the Chief Engineer.
The starting salary range for this position is $55,000
– $65,000/year commensurate with experience.
