Sound Mixer

Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) provides onsite managed services for a large tech video-sharing platform.

We are seeking a technically-minded post production professional to join our team and sit onsite with our client in Playa Vista, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
:
You’ll use your own equipment to ensure an elevated and on-spec final mix on an array of marketing materials for our client.

Partner with our editorial team on establishing and improving workflow.

Move seamlessly between deliverables, from social content to high profile broadcast promos, 5.1 theatrical trailers and podcasts.

Help the edit team improve pieces through sound design, sound editing, and sound mixing when needed.

Maintain and troubleshoot all of your own audio equipment.

Setup remote sound recording sessions with clients and talent.

Oversee the delivery of finished tracks to internal departments.

Work collaboratively with talent, producers, and creative directors.

Ability to deliver high-quality assets with little oversight required.

Perform any repair tasks, such as debreathing and background noise reduction.
Requirements
3-4+ years experience with sound editing and recording equipment.

Owner/operator of professional sound recording equipment.

Ability to work efficiently from home, including adequate data connectivity.

Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques.

A history of overseeing large scale studio projects while prioritizing consistent high-quality standards and meeting essential project deadlines.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; detail-oriented, strong multi-tasker.

Expert with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of software.

Proficiency in project management software, such a GSuite (Google Drive, Docs, Slides), Workfront, Asana, Slack, Trello, etc.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering or equivalent work experience.

In depth knowledge of the complexities of studio equipment systems.
