Sommelier

Bar Chelou is looking for an experienced sommelier to help grow our team! We are looking for those who are eager to learn and grow in a fast paced, team service environment. Previous experience required. Please note: this is a sommelier/server position.

We offer competitive hourly wages along with fully-subsidized health insurance. Tips will be pooled and shared with all FOH and BOH staff on a per-shift basis. 

Ideal candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ sommelier experience
  • Must have extensive natural wine knowledge 
  • Self-motivated 
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Supportive team member
  • Excellent communication 
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Strong service skills
