About the Role: The Server is responsible for all table service in the dining room, and is the main contact with our guests; displaying exemplary customer service at all times. Essential Functions • Continually read, anticipate, and fulfill guest needs. • Takes guests orders, and ensures accuracy in relaying it to the kitchen or bar. Assists in preparation of drink service, or finalization of dishes, prior to serving. • Works with BOH and bussers/runners to deliver food to guests, explains dishes as appropriate when delivering to guests. • Sets up and breaks down the dining room and tables as assigned. • Stays current with menu, offerings, and descriptions as menu and offerings are updated. • Assists with overall maintenance of the restaurant and organization of supplies and storage. • Restocks plates, glass, and silverware as needed. • Assists with clearing tables as guests are finished dining. • Totals guest bills, and accepts payments. • Maintains service stations in a clean in orderly manner throughout the shift. Performs all opening or closing side work as assigned. • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. • Customer service oriented and proactive. • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. • Executes and maintain quality and consistent service with full adherence to standards; acts with a sense of urgency, is friendly, professional, and engaged. • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by management. www.kabukirestaurants.com…
