The Role
We are looking for Senior Supply Planner who empowers data to drive better decisions
– someone who is unfazed by ambiguity and charges forward until the path becomes clear.

This individual will play a critical role in defining how the Company approaches the inventory planning process for years to come.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated by the impact they have on the organization, and will work hard to build trust, earn loyalty, and influence better decision-making.

This position is a regular, full-time, exempt position based out of our Los Angeles office.

What You’ll Do

  • Build-upon industry-leading planning principles and practices
  • Maintain 12-month rolling buy plan that accounts for appropriate mix of wine category and price tier along with an optimal breath of SKU count
  • Collaborate with Wine Strategy on core wine program, seasonal buys and assortment strategies to support marketing initiatives, maximize in-stock availability, and optimize inventory productivity
  • Provide SKU count and bottle quantity guidance by category to Wine Strategy to support growth
  • Prepare and publish regular reporting on inventory on-hand, weeks of supply, and slow-moving inventory by wine category
  • Determine appropriate inventory levels by warehouse location to support the demand plan
  • Work with operations to ensure proper balancing of inventory across warehouses
  • Provide monthly insights on inventory position and feasibility to support marketing initiatives
  • Interface with cross functional stakeholders to understand demand requirements and analyze impacts to the supply and the buy plan
  • Prepare additional ad-hoc supply reporting for management as requested

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in product planning, inventory management, or supply chain management
  • Expert Excel skills
  • Takes time to understand and appreciate the KPIs and levers of the business in order to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Extremely analytical and never satisfied when something doesn’t make sense
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with a persistent desire for precision
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work full-time in our Los Angeles office
