Senior Strategist

About the role:  

Strategy is about inspiring excellence by putting the consumer first.

They are accountable for developing & applying audience, market and product insight to identify the specific challenges and opportunities presented, and providing strategic direction + guidance to implementational planning teams to deliver against objectives.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

  • Develop an understanding of the client’s business environment and strategy.
  • Collaborate with team leads across Strategy, Media Planning, and Analytics to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and execute project approach.
  • Participate in research, internal brainstorming sessions and partner meetings.
  • Contribute to audience research activities (in conjunction with internal, client or 3rd party) research teams.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Assemble strategic insights and cultural trends for internal and external audiences.
  • Understand and present emerging behaviors, technologies, and companies that are changing our client’s businesses.
  • Contribute to thought leadership activities

A bit about yourself:

  • 5+ years of strategy experience in a media, creative or an innovations agency setting.
  • Professional experience and personal passion for digital communications and experiences.
  • Expertise in media performance metrics, syndicated research products, research design, and methodologies.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • A multi-tasker with solid project management skills managing multiple engagements at once.
  • Experience using research tools like comScore, Nielsen, and eMarketer, as well as social media analytics systems.
  • Proven ability to write clearly; analyze and interpret data with client needs in mind; and most importantly translate research into insights.
