We’re looking for great passionate, dynamic talent to join our team.Aspen Aerogels is looking for a Senior Staffing Specialist in our Marlborough, MA location.

This position will provide superior customer service and accountability in the execution offull-cycle recruiting in support of staffing for the Research and Development team based in Northborough.

This will include sourcing, assessing, interviewing, closing, and managing candidates throughout the selection and new hire process.

The position reports to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Implementation of strategic cost-effective recruitment programs to support specialized staffing initiatives as well as spontaneous staffing for contracts and future projects.Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a clear understanding of job requirements and compliance with quality standards;design and execute proactive sourcing strategies that drive sufficient volume of quality candidates.Develop, manage and maintain targeted talent pipelines and diverse applicant pool of fully qualified and interested candidates through traditional and custom methods.Participate in job fairs, open houses and recruitment events to establish a candidate pool which best addresses business objectives Manage and facilitate the full interviewing and selection process with candidates and hiring managers to include the offer, negotiation and closing process.Gather candidate feedback from interview team and lead final assessment and selection process which can include preparing a rating on applicants, negotiating offers and consulting on recommended starting salaries and other offer package details such as sign-on bonuses, relocations and other benefits and equity-related incentives.

Update applicant tracking system with disposition statuses of all candidates applying for posted positions for compliance with annual Affirmative Action Plan reporting requirements.Follows state and federal requirements and recognized corporate procedures for recruiting and maintaining accurate employee records.

Manage the data associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision is properly handled in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate documentation related to candidate interactions, reports and statuses for follow ups as needed.

Ensure all recruitment efforts are focused on furthering the Company’s diversity goals through constant outreach activities.Collaborate with members of the Human Resources team to promote continuous improvement within the HR/Staffing function and provide a consistently superior level of customer service and corporate representation.

Provide frequent management reports relative to recruitment activity and candidate status.

Works with HR Team on assigned HR projectsPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.Adopt and follow Aspen’s core values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, Customer and Innovation on both a personal and professional level.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.5-8 years professional recruitment experience in a related R/manufacturing environment with high volumes of positions such as non-exempt Manufacturing and Office staff and exempt positions such as Chemical, Mechanical Engineers, Managers and Directors.Demonstrated knowledge of applicable employment laws and human resource practices including compensation, performance management, recruiting and selection and employee relations.Demonstrated experience with applicant tracking systems.Excellent client management, candidate management and interpersonal skills.

Ability to develop relationships and influence others.

Ensure that all candidates and hiring managers are treated in a professional manner and that all business is conducted while demonstrating integrity and fairness.Demonstrate strong organizational skills with a commitment to follow up consistently with candidates in a timely manner.Exceptional consulting, coaching and feedback skills, including written and verbal communication.Maintain current knowledge in business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends/requirements.Participate in developing analytical data about all facets of the hiring process, including evaluation of financial performance, source effectiveness, activity reporting and other analysis, as needed.Solid decision making and problem solving abilities.Strong planning and organizing skills; demonstrated skills in managing multiple, complex demands.Ability to address priorities and meet business established deadlines.Attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information.Ability to work effectively either in teams or independently.Computer skills required: Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Human Resource Systems; Aspen Aerogels, Inc.
