The technology solutions group offers technology development and delivery capabilities used for our own product development and offered directly to clients.

We are looking for Senior Solution Engineers who can help us develop and deliver these capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

Lead and advise clients on the planning, delivery, and management of innovative technology initiatives

Analyze, design, and develop software solutions for our clients and for Point B

Teach software development techniques and practices to other team members, and provide ongoing coaching

Stay on top of emerging technology trends, and methodologies

Build a profitable capability within Point B that delivers technology solutions to our clients

Partner effectively within and outside of Point B to design best-in-class solutions

Collaborate with Point B’s service and market teams to identify opportunities to design and deliver technology capabilities and offerings

Partner with Point B solution sales teams as sales engineer to establish technology credibility

Design and build technology products and platforms that enable Point B to serve customers at scale

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE: 

Proven yourself as a subject matter expert with 8+ years of experience developing software solutions for business users, including all aspects of the software development life cycle

Supported software sales, preferably within a consulting environment, with direct experience in large program and solution management

Develops and manages complex program/project structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, etc.

Serves as a client’s expert leader through all phases of a project.

Operates effectively with senior leaders at our clients.

Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, and recommends key decisions for projects.

Provides direction and collaborates effectively with business leaders, project and technical teams.

Builds and manages stakeholder relationships, including business partners, users, vendors, customers, project and program team members, and management leaders.

Provides oversight to other team members for project work

Communicates clearly and proactively to project team and client stakeholders

Builds relationships through exceptional client service delivery and maintains relationships to support Point B business development.

Demonstrated experience developing software in a variety of technologies, including SQL and one or more of Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or comparable languages

Worked effectively as a technologist in multiple industries and business areas

Earned a B.A.

or B.S.

degree in a quantitative subject (computer science, engineering, mathematics, sciences, economics, etc.)

Available to work remotely and travel up to 20% or as needed
