Senior Producer (Podcast)

Cavalry Audio is a full-scale podcast studio that develops, finances and produces premium audio series spanning multiple genres and formats.

The newest division of Cavalry Media, the Los Angeles-based production and talent management company founded by Dana Brunetti and Keegan Rosenberger focused on the acquisition, development and production of premium feature films and scripted television series for global audiences.

Cavalry Audio is currently seeking a Senior Producer with extensive experience and capabilities to translate creative concepts into coherent narrative arcs from pilot to final episode of individual podcast projects.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of the podcast landscape as well as the technical background to execute all phases of the production process; from ideation and story development through physical production and publishing across a broad range of podcast genres and formats.

This role will require nimble problem solver, a collaborator with talent, production and distribution partners and internal creative executives.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage an expanding slate of podcast projects through the creative development, physical production execution (pre-production, recording, music/sound editing et.) and final delivery of finished episodes Collaborate with and manage talent (e.g., hosts and guests), external partners and a team of associate producers Plan production schedules in order to meet deadlines Develop production budgets and drive efficiency to ensure delivery of podcast seasons within budgeted parameters Work closely with platform partners (Apple, iHeart, Pandora, Spotify, etc) to establish relationships in order to maximize visibility for each series Source new podcast projects

Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of five (5) years experience serving as a Senior Producer (or equivalent role) in podcast media content creation and production Proficient project management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to prioritize a wide variety of tasks with shifting deadlines Strong ability to identify new trends and collaborate with content creators Working knowledge of the entertainment industry Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with various levels of management, both internal and external
