The Senior Oracle Apps DBA for Beckman Coulter is responsible for managing and supporting Oracle Databases and Oracle E-business Suite related daily maintenance tasks. Partners with various technical and business groups to optimize and maintain the system availability and performance standards. This position is part of the Core Infrastructure Service (CIS) Department in a hybrid workspace environment allowing a mix of remote work and onsite Beckman locations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Leads the modernization of our Oracle E-business suite DR environment and ecosystem + Maintains high-availability services along with a regular candace of project deployments, enhancements, fixes, and ad hoc requests + Ability to define & measure objectives with management + Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions + Provides technical guidance to associates, colleagues and/or customers The essential requirements of the job include + Bachelor’s degree in field with 9+ years experience or Master’s degree in field with 7+ years exp. + Strong experience in Oracle E-business suite administration, cloning, refreshes, Installation, upgrades, Patching of EBS R12.1 and R12.2 and Oracle databases. + Hands on experience in Oracle 12c/19c RAC database administration, patching and SQL tuning + Strong Oracle Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience + Experience supporting SQL Server and MongoDB It would be a plus if you also possess experience in: + Upgrading EBS R12.1.3 to R12.2.x.
