Position Overview:
As an integral member of our Civil Litigation practice, you will handle a broad spectrum of cases, from inception to resolution, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth.
**The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in Litigation in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury. **
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Propound and respond to discovery
- Perform legal research, draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents as necessary
- Prepare for, take and defend depositions
- Assist with maintenance of heavy case load ensuring all cases move forward in a timely manner and within deadlines
- Provide excellent service to all clients
- Prepare for Trials
- Represented clients in personal injury accidents; auto & premises liability and insurance disputes.
- Make Court Appearances
- Prepare for Mediations & Arbitrations
- Follow up and communication with clients
- Negotiated and settled disputes with insurance companies
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:
- In good standing with CA bar. (We will perform a check with the state bar prior to employment)
- Must be proactive and understand how to aggressively litigate throughout the lifeline of a case.
- Must be ready and hungry for trial work.
- Must be a team player and have self-initiative
- 3-8 years of PI litigation.
- Must be able to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Candidates must have excellent research skill and oral and written communication skills.’
Salary:
- Depending on experience.
