Job Details
We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphics Engineer to join our engineering team and help with the development of multiple projects.
This position will work directly with the CTO, and leads from each project to help build the best looking and most performant games.
You must have excellent communication skills and take an analytical approach to rendering.
Our ideal candidate has detailed experience of multiple GPU architectures (PC, console, mobile etc.) and is able to design and build pipelines that will take advantage of each different architecture.
You will be intimate with state-of-the-art render analysis tools such as Renderdoc and will have worked on rendering for games previously.
You should show a collaborative and can-do attitude, a flexible work style, and the ability to understand the needs of multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
As our Graphics Engineer, you will …
Work with the CTO, Technical Artists, and Senior Engineers to create beautiful looking game experiences
Understand the differences between different platforms and design processes and systems to move between platforms
Collaborate with Production to coordinate task lists to ensure assignments are progressing as expected according to schedules, milestones, and overall project goals.
Develop implementation plans and software according to functional requirements & feature specifications to support the unique requirements of the game.
Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code
Build a culture of constantly measuring rendering throughput and ensure support and mentor multiple teams on rendering requirements
As GPUs evolve understand the state of the art and how we can apply new architectures to our games
We’re looking for someone who has …
Proficiency in C++, C#, and object-oriented programming.
5+ years of recent experience in the video game industry including at least one title shipped as a rendering/graphics engineer.
Experience
with DirectX, OpenGl and Vulkan
Strong data-structure, logic, algorithm, and 3D math skills
High-quality standards for personal code and strong debugging, coding, and problem solving
Demonstrable experience at building render pipelines for games
Self-motivation and drive.
The ability to actively participate and offer creative solutions to improve rendering throughput and quality.
Excellent communication and team skills.
The ability to effectively collaborate with a team of other programmers, artists, and designers.
