Senior Global Ecommerce Strategist

This role represents significant exposure globally and at the executive level.

AS A SENIOR GLOBAL ECOMMERCE STRATEGIST, YOU WILL: Lead the strategic efforts to expand global adoption of Ecommerce capabilities to support a multi-billion-dollar market.

Supply commerce subject matter expertise on Ecommerce adoption and operations to global leadership teams.

Advise world areas how to best align their business processes for an optimal digital experience.

Coordinate workshops with regional teams to understand localized customer needs and evaluate how to best leverage investments for global benefit.

Leverage successful approaches from one world area to the next, tailoring it as needed for local considerations.

Actively drive the planning and execution of digital rollouts to support the business growth plans.

Partner with other Emerson Business Units and world area leadership to ensure efforts are communicated and coordinated throughout the organization.

Represent Measurement Solutions in projects to facilitate digital transaction capabilities with Tier 1 customers.

Build robust relationships with our largest customers and act as a liaison with IT to deliver commerce capabilities through B2B integration.

Participate in the worldwide efforts to deploy best of breed eprocurement solutions (such as static catalogs, punchouts and RPA capabilities).

Evaluate solutions unique to each customer that best fits their needs.

Drive the overarching strategy for improving the Ecommerce journey.

Identify key areas of the digital customer journey that require analytics and partner with IT to implement these requirements.

Make data-driven decisions using web analytics to propose and design improvements.

Collaborate within the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) organization to define the roadmap for delivering a best in class DCX.

Provide a strategic roadmap to fully leverage CRM integration and partner with IT to make the roadmap a reality.

Support the strategic planning process and assist in prioritizing global digital initiatives.

Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit with a passion for catalyzing new projects.

Evangelize the benefits of the digital platform and share successes worldwide.

Deliver measurable improvements of business results and use a proven track record of success to challenge conventional methods and processes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field.

Minimum six (6) years of related experience.

Up to 25% travel for team meetings and collaborative working sessions.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Experience and knowledge in Ecommerce funnel analysis and optimization.

Experience with digital analytical tools such as Google Analytics and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Experience presenting to varied audiences including senior management.

Skilled in with MS Office suite with a focus on data analysis.

Exposure to CRM integration within the digital journey.
