Senior FCM Analyst

ADP

This is a Contract position in Los Angeles, CA posted January 11, 2022.

The Funds Control Sr.

Analyst will provide reporting support on processes, procedures, and issues and perform data analysis to improve the department’s operational and risk mitigation effectiveness.The position will gather appropriate and relevant documentation to identify and clarify issues and will seek timely and reasonable solutions.

Analyst will assist in monitoring compliance requirements, perform audits, and make necessary control changes to ensure that Funds Control Management (FCM) is operating in a controlled manner.The position will meet with internal and external auditors and maintain a strong understanding of the operation as is relates to risk, controls, and financial exposure.Basic Requirements Collaborate with staff and business partners to understand operations and stay abreast of department processes.

Gain understanding of new products, processes, and systemic changes, and make recommendations to strengthen controls and mitigate financial exposure.Use functional and technical skills to generate reports, analyze data, and provide conclusions.

Essential Responsibilities Analyze trends and anomalies and make the appropriate recommendations.

Report results to staff, management, and business partners.

Provide guidance and feedback that leads to improved performance.

Define and create queries via Business Warehouse, TOAD, and QMF based on business/user needs.

Modify query output to streamline information presented; provide end users with reports of service metrics and volumes.

Analyze business trends for opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership and team.

Compile and create custom and standardized reports via MS Excel, MS Access, and other available software and tools.

Coordinate meetings with relevant business partners to gain understanding of internal and external processes, collect data, and document risk and impact.

Make decisions within controls and risk policy, reviewing, or conferring with available resources and experts.

Accountable for the timely and accurate production of reports and the satisfactory resolution of problems encountered in producing them.Qualifications Required: Minimum of 3 years of data management and reporting experience.

Bachelor Degree in Business or Finance preferred; and/or equivalent work experience.

Independent self-starter.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to work under time constraints.
