Find your place in technology on TeamAmex.Qualifications 8 years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as: Taking your place as a key team member within our agile team and driving the latest development practices.

Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Reactive Patterns.

Designing solutions that are scalable and can be delivered iteratively to maximise business value.

Creating UI framework using REACT Writing code and unit tests, reviewing other team members’ code.

Integrate with APIs provided by different teams in American Express.

Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies.

Lead a group of engineers to create enterprise scalable UI framework integrated to back end data layers Expertise in the definition and implementation of effective software engineering practices and processes that result in high speed to market: i.e.

open source style project maintainers, PR review process, issue triage, code reviews, code contribution metrics definition, test automation strategy, CI/CD optimization, etc.

Understanding and familiarity of popular web application JavaScript frameworks (React.js).

Able to solve difficult software and UX problems with ambiguity.

Pushes for information to avoid solving the wrong problem and mitigate UI risks early in the process.

Can decompose a problem into clear software and UX design actions.

Have a core understanding of API components like Circuit Breakers, Service discovery patterns, and horizontally scalable services and how these are used and managed within User Interfaces.We back our colleagues with the support they need to thrive, professionally and personally.
