Visit our website at www.rocket.com for more information on how our employees Power the Future.We are seeking an experienced **Senior Quality Process Engineer** to join our growing team in our **Canoga Park, CA** office.In this role you will provide Quality Engineering support to assigned manufacturing processes and processing areas and be responsible to work with manufacturing and inspection functions to ensure process compliance to specification requirements.Activities include process surveillance, process audits and control checks. This include conducting area surveillances, process audits, and process control verifications. Provide interpretation of requirements.+ Train personnel regarding the correct application of systems and equipment. Monitor and maintain operational status of specific equipment and shop aids. Issue and maintain certifications for personnel equipment and special processing areas+ Conduct hands on testing and evaluations of support equipment, materials and facilities (e.g. electrostatic discharge equipment, certified gas use points, clean room control parameters)+ Review and approve process command media such as Quality and Process specifications, Processing Procedures and instructions. Prepare concise and accurate procedures, specifications, work authorization documents and related graphic materials.+ Perform data analysis of quality performance trends, providing support to quality assurance planning for manufacturing assembly and test.Assurequality records are maintained per requirements**Requirements**Requires a Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline and five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Requirements:+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a close-knit team environment.+ Valid driver’s license. Employees who drive on company business to carry out job-related duties must possess a valid driver’s license for the class of vehicle driven and meet automobile insurability requirements of the Company.Preferred Qualification:+ Comprehensive knowledge of quality principles, and hands-on work experience in a manufacturing environment.+ ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is highly desirable.Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person.
