Our client, a leader in power management and industrial technology, is seeking a Senior Engineer III to join their innovative team in Los Angeles, CA. As a Lead Engineer in New Product Development, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing hydraulic actuation devices for aerospace applications, utilizing cutting-edge Computer-Aided-Engineering techniques.

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay Range:$50-54/hr
What’s the Job?
- Lead the design and optimization of hydraulic actuation devices for aerospace applications using Computer-Aided-Engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure designs meet customer expectations and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance for new product development and design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing technical leadership and direction.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five (5) years of mechanical and project engineering experience in the aerospace, hydraulic, or vehicle industry.
- Experience implementing hydraulic product design and testing in a plant environment.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Working knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design for Manufacturability (dfM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) principles.
