Job Summary The Senior Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of all projects Participate in screenings, studies, and operation write-ups, in addition to operation assistance, trouble shooting and client operation training Communicates with the project engineering office in order to make sure that the applicable drawings are created in accordance with all commissioning requirements Responsible for regularly monitoring and reporting commissioning progress Responsible for supporting and supervision the Electrical Commissioning Team on projects Oversees completion of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning or commissioning on projects Reviews, approves, multi-discipline commissioning processes to ensure they are compliant with the procedures, specifications and standards of the project and oversees the installation and design of commissioning supplies and systems Ensures safety procedures and practices are followed Audit commissioning activities on regularly to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience in operation and process design Experience in applying HSE-standards, leading a start-up and commissioning team and with operation classroom training and ability to maintain HSE consistence onsite Knowledge of conducting and writing reports Willingness to travel, this position requires travel to job sites in and out of NY/NJ State Ability to communicate, present effectively with staff, principles and clients
