About the Role

The Senior eBilling Specialist role is part of the team that manages client ebilling requirements both internally and externally.

Using your analytical abilities, technical skills, understanding of our software and our client’s ebilling requirements, you will electronically submit case information, setup and resolve ebilling logistics, and serve as an eBilling advisor for other members of the billing team.

You will be part of the team and work independently to meet our growing client demand for electronic billing.

How You’ll Help Us Be Successful
Manage client ebilling set up requirements both internally and externally.

Establish relationships with ebilling vendor and client contacts to resolve the variety of issues related to ebilling work such as updating budgets, uploading timekeepers/rates, obtaining appropriate legal matter billing codes.

Review Engagement Letters/Client Contracts and assure special ebilling requirements are met.

Work with Aderant support to resolve BillBlast (our ebilling software) issues and configuration requests.

Coordinate the ebilling vendor and client updates of the monthly new timekeepers.

Coordinate the ebilling vendor and client updates of new bill rates during twice yearly rate increases.

Assist Billing Administrators in resolving eBilling issues such as mapping special format setups in BillBlast, editing LEDES and XML files, and troubleshooting invoicing errors.

Provide reports on ebilling clients and invoice statuses as requested.

Provide training and expertise on ebilling topics.

Assist Billing and Collections as needed with the follow up on invoice rejections, short pays, resubmissions, and other issues.

Provide Monthly Accruals and estimate reports as requested.

Coordinate information needed for audits and/or special projects.

Prepare and submit electronic client invoices using Aderant, BillBlast and ebilling vendor websites as needed.

As needed, ebill invoices for the billers who do not have ebilling responsibilities.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business and 3+ years of ebilling experience in a professional services environment preferred Experience working with a professional services billing software, experience with CMS/Aderant a plus Working knowledge of MS Office required
