Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contracts and Risk Management Focal to join our diverse team supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security and Indirect Supply Chain Organizations in Seattle, WA .The selected candidate will be a key member of the contracts and risk management team in supporting the supply chain representing The Boeing Company to suppliers.

Successful candidates will have the ability to balance The Boeing Company’s priorities while also maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Position Responsibilities:Acts as a Boeing Designated Expert on contracting risk.Supports internal customers by effectively managing risk through contract terms and conditions.Engages in negotiation support.Understands key risk areas, trends, strategy and opportunities.Provides education and training and focus resources on complex, high-risk business impact.Creates value by supporting the business unit, program and/or functions contracting strategies and risk management efforts.Provides contracting support for strategies, services and suppliers.Supports interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for supply chain contracts and risk management activities that enable the company to create, protect and recover value.Leads key initiatives related to contract terms and conditions.Provides business unit support related to pro forma development.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.Collects, organizes, synthesizes, and analyzes data; summarizes findings; develops conclusions and recommendations.This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Seattle, WA .This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

§ 120.15 is required.

“US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher.More than 5 years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement contracting.More than 5 years of experience negotiating commercial, FAR/DFARS or legal terms and conditions in a contract.More than 5 years leading projects or teams in negotiation strategies.More than 5 years of experience working with internal or external stakeholders (e.g.

business partner, customers, Finance, suppliers, etc.)Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives.More than 3 years of experience with negotiating software licenses.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Juris Doctorate.More than 3 years of experience with complex contracts.More than 1 year of experience developing negotiating strategies, obtaining management approval and closing negotiations.More than 1 year of experience identifying and mitigating risk.Experience working within a fast-paced team environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with Leadership or internal and external customer representatives.Experience with government contracts.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Summary pay range: $91,980
– $170,820
