This position can be based at our Los Angeles CA, Sacramento CA, Huntsville AL, West Palm Beach FL, or our Redmond WA location.

Position can be fulfilled as a remote position with periodic travel to an AR company site for training, meetings, etc.This position reports directly to the Senior Manager

Review requests for promotions and provide guidance on job leveling and salary increase decisions.

Participate in salary surveys and utilize market data to enhance the organization’s ability to maintain a competitive edge by attracting and retaining a highly qualified workforce30% -Lead the administration of one or more compensation programs such as the annual merit increase cycle, short-term & long-term incentive plans and recognition programs.

Develop and deliver training to communicate compensation programs to management and the HR Business Partner team20% -Collaborate with functional management to develop job descriptions that represent current and accurate job responsibilities for various job classifications.

Prepare documentation in support of government, internal and external audits.10%
– Responsible for budget tracking of various compensation programs leveraging different reporting tools to create budget summaries and dashboards.RequirementsRequires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and at least six (6) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications: Requiresstrong knowledge of compensation theories and practices and a demonstrated ability in providing guidance and counsel to leaders and employees.

The ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization is expected.

The ability to work in a team environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy is critical, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks, shifting priorities and ambiguity while remaining flexible.

Priorexperience in the administration of short-term incentive plans and long-term equity incentive plans.

Proficiency in HR systems (including report writing) and MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel is required.

Certification in Compensation is preferred.

Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment and manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in market analysis tools such as Market Pay is highly desirable.

Ability to travel as needed (5-15%).Requires U.S.
