Job Summary:

The Sr Business Analyst – DE&I is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team, and acts as an internal consultant, and project manager to AEG on complex projects pertaining to the company’s DE&I strategy. The primary purpose of this role is to work closely with the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to manage and execute AEG’s DE&I Roadmap and strategic priorities, focusing on developing and tracking the company’s KPI and metrics. The Sr Business Analyst – DE&I assists, develops, and manages programs, services and initiatives designed to enhanced AEG’s mission to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace through the DE&I Roadmap and strategic priorities. This includes responsibility for managing project timelines, assisting with creating, reviewing and updating reports, developing DE&I dashboards and DE&I data reporting; assisting with tasks that support the production of research and insights.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a team member for the annual employment engagement survey through partnering with external vendor on logistics and timeline, partnering with internal communications teams on messaging and branding, developing dashboards and results presentations, and providing data insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises to assess the competitiveness of internal DE&I programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Leaders to research and implement continuous listening tools and process that will allow us to capture feedback from associates at multiple touchpoints across the employee lifecycle (e.g., pulse surveys, exit surveys, onboarding surveys, stay interviews) with a laser focus on women and people of color.
  • Organize and collect data from multiple sources, analyze results to help with DE&I goals, KPIs and program direction, uncover insights within data and present findings to leadership.
  • Develop content related to DE&I to educate employees about inclusive practices, highlight strengths and challenges of diverse groups, amplify supplier diversity efforts and build capability to support our desired culture.
  • Develops quarterly communications for various client stakeholders on progress of the DE&I Roadmap.
  • Establish process for delivering monthly, quarterly and annual DE&I reports.
  • Partner with external vendor to draft and develop AEG Annual DE&I reports.
  • Create resources, program materials, templates, and relevant training as needed to educate leaders DE&I best practices, methodologies and outcomes.
  • Translate emerging themes into clear action plans and deliverables, tracking measures of success, managing risk, communicating progress and milestones to stakeholders, and enlisting the support of Resource Groups and Internal Advisory Board (2022 and beyond).

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Psychology, Sociology, Business-related field or applicable work experience
  • 4-6 years Relevant professional work experience in diversity & inclusion
  • 4 plus years experience working within human resources, strategic planning or related experience
  • Experience working with human resource data
  • Experience with data analytic tools (i,e Power BI) preferred
  • Deep knowledge data analysis and ability to provide insights from data
  • Knowledge of DE&I practices and principles, or equivalent relevant background
  • Highly skilled in adaptability, critical thinking, and collaboration/teamwork
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally to scale solutions across business units and geographies
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, web/internet navigation and demonstrated ability to learn new applications
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills with experience and ability to create graphs, tables, etc.
  • Excellent written, oral, and high-level interpersonal communication skills
  • Possesses and applies strong consultative and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a rich mix of demographic groups and role model inclusive leadership
  • Passionate about diversity, equity, & inclusion
  • Certifications in D&I management are a plus
