SUMMARY:
As our Senior Bioprocess Engineer you will work on process design, improvements, scale up, tech transfers of upstream operations to GMP manufacturing for our cell therapy and viral vaccine programs. You will also troubleshoot manufacturing issues and work on continuous process improvements.
MUST HAVES:
- Process Optimization Experience
- Process Development Experience
- Upstream Cell Culture Experience
- Deviations & Investigations Experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports troubleshooting and mitigation efforts for the resolution of deviations investigations, and process issues.
- Performs root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Execute experiments to support process development and optimization efforts.
- Provides technical support during tech transfer and scale-up to the cGMP suite.
- Trains Manufacturing personnel in equipment and process operations
- Manages, analyzes, and identify trends in data. Aids in organization of data for statistical process control.
- Draft documents including batch documentation, qualification protocols, evaluation protocols/reports, investigation reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provides equipment engineering support for process with a focus on single-use technologies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors in Bioengineering
- Experience in cell culture
- 4+ years of industrial/cGMP experience in upstream cell culturing
