Senior Associate, Digital (Media and Campaigns)

This role will be a member of our Media and Campaigns team and report into the Head of Media and Campaigns.

Grounded in research, informed by movement building and driven by creativity, the Media and Campaigns team at A/B brings sector expertise across earned, owned, paid media fields together.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Associate, Digital (Media and Campaigns) to lead engagements that grow the impact and influence of our social justice projects across a range of online and social channels.

The Senior Associate proactively consumes media online and believes in the power of digital to shift people’s behavior and values to address enduring and emerging social problems.

They will work with an interdisciplinary team of communicators and strategists to deliver work that is consistently creative, strategic and wins real victories.

Responsibilities Proactively propose creative strategies to help the team achieve their organizational goals
– studying a client’s goals and challenges, auditing their digital presence, and proposing digital-based solutions Work with a team to develop a strategy for how a given client will reach a target audience and mobilize them to take key actions Draft content for digital marketing, working with the team to ensure all work aligns with organizational and messaging goals Manage digital engagement and advertising campaigns in day-to-day execution, including content strategy, production, segmentation and testing Conduct and share timely and regular analysis of digital marketing performance, and develop and implement strategies to grow the impact of our work Make recommendations on new technologies and strategies that could increase the effectiveness and visibility of our impact Train colleagues on digital best practices and trends.

Qualifications 4 years experience as a strategist in a campaign, creative, digital agency or related environment, with a knack for identifying compelling content Familiarity with executing social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Hootsuite and SproutSocial Hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager, DoubleClick Marketing Stack, Google AdWords, YouTube TrueView, and/or Twitter Ads Proficiency in HTML/CSS and building email templates, with familiarity with email distribution programs and listserv management (e.g.

BSD, NGP-VAN, Nationbuilder, Salsa, MailChimp) Expertise with online and social media analytics, extracting insight from data and plan next steps across multiple channels Displays organizational capabilities to track progress, execution and consistency of multi-channel campaigns Exhibits solid communication skills in order to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to internal teams Ability to self-manage while managing teams and projects in a fast-paced environment Familiarity and comfort with interdisciplinary work, where digital engagement is integrated with earned and traditional paid media; and the facility to work well with team members that are less digitally-savvy A strong understanding of progressive movement building, CSR, or social impact ventures strongly preferred.
