How will you make an impact?
Under the direction of the engineering director, the position will leverage the knowledge of bioprocess container manufacturing and design in managing customer accounts and providing winning solutions. This position will engage with the customer, operations, process, design, and quality engineering in researching and defining best practices in bioprocess container manufacturing. Capabilities and expertise on BPC hardware and single use products, product design, product components, manufacturing processes, applications, and industry requirements are essential as well as capabilities and understanding of business systems and tools in the creation of a manufacturing recipe is essential.
What will you do?

Engage with customer to optimize biopharmaceutical workflow using Single Use Products

Guide customer in selection of various raw materials that aligns with business preferred raw material

Collaborate with cross functional departments on corrective actions

Research new single use technologies for the biopharmaceutical market

Analyze component usage and performance data to provide reliable product offerings

Team with Field Application Specialists and the Sales group to deliver world class solutions to the customer

Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Operations, and Process Engineering on customer complaint response

Lead PPI and other continuous improvement initiatives
-
Research and develop more effective instructions for manufacturing bioprocess containers

Travel required upto 25 % of time to visit industry events and customer visit

How will you get here?
Experience
-
Minimum 10 years of experience in designing Bioprocess Single Use Technology
-
Demonstrated ability to work between customer and cross functional department to provide the optimum design
-
Demonstrated ability to produce clear and accurate product drawings and instructions
-
Competent with AutoCAD
Minimum Qualifications:

10 years of experience with Single Use Product line design and applications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft, Oracle, Master Control, and other office application software

A successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal technical communication, interpersonal cross functional team based interaction, organizational and detail oriented, analytical, planning and problem solving. Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.
