PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Aid the Audit/Financial Planning Manager and upper management, through sound methodologies, in identifying areas of improvement and execution of stated budgets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is a combination of Finance and Accounting.
The person will assist in the profit and improvement process.
The analyst will conduct business unit audits and general ledger account audits as needed.
The Financial Analyst will observe financial representations through out the company, document processes, evaluate business needs and make recommendations to improve the through put.
Provide the necessary data to upper management to improve operations.
o Aid upper management in the decision process with comprehensive analysis
o Act as a liaison between Financial Planning and Accounting
o Business Unit Audits
o General Ledger Audits
o SOP Audits, documentation and construction
o Operational cost analysis
o Aid in the development of company wide quantitative performance metrics
o Perform feasibility analysis
o Work with management to ensure accurate and timely reporting
RESULTS
Provide the data analysis necessary for management to make improvements to operational processes Improve operational reporting functions within the entire organization Maintain systemic controls throughout the organization
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting Strong operational and analytical background Audit experience 3-5 years of accounting experience Microsoft Office Products; advanced knowledge in excel
DESIRED
Experience in cost accounting and statistics Mathematical skills; probability and statistical interference, fundamentals of algebra, percentages, rations, proportions
