Job Description
We are currently hiring Security/Greeters (Part-time) at our Angel City Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
As a member of the security staff at Angel City Brewery (ACB), your responsibility is to provide direct physical security to staff, patrons, and brewery assets, while promoting a positive, safe and enjoyable environment for all guests to the Public House. Welcome every Angel City guest in a warm and inclusive manner, while serving as an enthusiastic first and last impression of the brewery to all our guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain cleanliness and order along the street (and in our parking lots), including sweeping as needed, directing food trucks to their proper locations, and no obstruction of valet services.
- When staffing permits, providing frequent and regular inspections of the restrooms and retail space, while addressing any potential issues which might otherwise damage our facilities, violate our operating permit and/or hinder the general enjoyment of the Public House and brewery for the rest of our guests.
- Removing any guest who is being disruptive and/or exhibiting clear signs of being visibly intoxicated, all while using good judgment, clear communication, and professionalism throughout.
- Tracking the number of guests entering and exiting the Public House as needed and implementing an orderly door wait once capacity is reached.
- Become thoroughly familiarized with the history, mission and culture of Angel City in order to promptly respond to any inquiries our guests may have. Distribute business cards as needed.
- Greet any guests with reservations, special events and/or picking up keg(s), before then notifying the Lead/Manager on duty about their arrival.
- Maintain log reports and ensure company policy and procedures are followed while reporting incidents to the floor manager on duty.
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness at all workstations, in the retail area, all entry/exit points and lots.
- Ensure that there are no hazards present at the brewery to maintain the safety of all coworkers and guests, i.e. mats, cables, spills, etc.
- Follow all steps of procedure as outlined in security plan, company protocols and CUP.
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous security/door staff experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification id
- Guard card certification is a plus
- Passion for the craft beer community is a plus
Level:10
In accordance with California’s pay transparency laws, the pay rate for this role is $18 per hour.
