Minimum Education & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience preferred in public accounting/auditing
  • Must have experience with large multinational companies with SEC requirements
  • CPA required

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Takes a leading role in the financial reporting process and coordination of various departments, domestic and internationally, to support quarterly and annual Securitites Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements and earnings releases. Lead the preparation of the Webfilings documents, eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging with limited guidance. Review disclosures, SEC/USGAAP compliance questionnaires, to ensure compliance with company policies as well as external reporting requirements. Identify areas where there may be risk and propose disclosures to address where necessary. Lead overall process and preparation of reporting for local statutory requirements with limited assistance
  • Prepare and review accounting for complex transactions and judgment areas, including hedging, Two-Class Method Earnings Per Share (EPS) calculations, and other stock-based compensation, and impairments. Work directly with members of the team to resolve issues with limited assistance. Prepare and review monthly consolidated cash flow and analyses. Analyze non-routine transactions and direct the research and documentation of accounting treatments, including implementation of new standards globally.
  • Develop, maintain and coordinate monthly reporting packages from international business units and financial reporting calendar deadlines with limited assistance. Take a leading role in monitoring of balance sheet reserves (AR and Inventory reserves) and consolidated Days On Hand/Days Sales Outstanding (DOH/DSO) calculations. Review store impairment analyses and scenarios. Review lease accounting to ensure compliance with USGAAP.
  • Create and update global accounting policies and practices manual. Provide training and communication of global accounting policies to domestic and international users to ensure consistency of application. Conduct technical research and implement new accounting pronouncements by working closely with internal teams and external auditors. Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Internal Controls
