Camp is running from July 12th to July 31st WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Provide for the safety and well-being of participants within your group during the entire camp session.* Supervise all aspects of the camper day, including arrival (or van pickup), meal times, daily activities, and transportation home.* Assist in teaching any activities as assigned by the Manager.* Carry out established roles in enforcing camp safety at all times.
WHAT YOU NEED: * Education/Certifications:* High school diploma * Experience:* Ability to lead small and large groups in activities* Prior camp counselor experience* Desire to work with children, teens, and adults who are blind, visually impaired, and multi-disabled* Ability to organize daily activities* Flexibility, adaptability, and cooperative* Knowledge of group dynamics* Ability to relate positively to one’s peer group* Have a sense of humor, patience, self-control, and good judgment* Current CPR and First Aid certification * Specific Requirements:* Valid CA driver’s license and a minimum of two (2) years good driving history and must be approved by the agency’s insurance carrier to drive agency vehicles.
