School Psychologist

Want a position that offers flexibility?

We are looking for certified School Psychologists in Los Angeles to perform school services.

This hybrid position requires providers to spend 2-3 days in the field conducting assessments but all other responsibilities can be completed from the comfort of your home.

This position is full time at 35 hours per week.

Our School Psychologists evaluate and recommend appropriate strategies regarding the education and placement of students with special needs.

You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered:
Masters in School Psychology or Clinical Psychology
Experience in cognitive, achievement, and behavioral assessments
A high level of energy and a passion for working with a diverse population
Outstanding reliability, relationship-building, and communication skills
Design and deliver trainings to parents, professionals and staff
Proficiency with writing plans and conducting meetings
Willingness to drive between sites if needed
Proof of vaccination
As a School Psychologist at TES, you will:
evaluate students and prepare psychological studies utilizing a variety of standardized individual and group psychological diagnostic and predictive test instruments for the purpose of making eligibility recommendations.
assist in the development and implementation of academic intervention programs.
understand and comply with all TES Protocols and Procedures in relation to job expectations.
maintain expertise in subject matter by continuing research, study, and application.
travel to and attend trainings, meetings, conferences (as needed).

Environment & Physical Qualifications: Assigned work environments vary from site to site and may require services to be provided in a distance learning / therapy model.

The work environment is usually comprised of several adults and children in a classroom, clinic, or campus facility with supervisors traveling to multiple sites/clinics.

Due to varied work environments, an employee may encounter noise levels that are moderate to loud.

In addition, the job functions could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
