ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
Assess the cognitive ability, academic achievement, adaptive behavior, transition, and social/emotional/behavioral status of referred students who reside within the Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) district.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in: Assessing/identifying students for initial or continuing eligibility in the IDEA exceptionalities.
Scoring assessment measures both by hand and with the use of computer scoring software.
Administering and scoring a wide variety of assessment measures.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree Missouri Certification as School Psychological Examiner Must be competent in the use of a computer and/or computer software PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience as a School Psychological Examiner or Educational Diagnostician PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
