Civil Engineering & Construction Management Firm has immediate opportunity for a Senior Program Scheduler.
Marine environment experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Review construction schedule submittals from contractors on behalf of the owner; make comments and recommendations (baseline review, work force, equipment, materials, resource loading, cash flow, variance reports)
o Compliance with contract requirements
o Logic/sequencing
o Conflicts/delays
Attend Construction Meetings
Perform field observations
Independent/Parallel schedules
Written reports/analysis of schedule changes, modifications, variances and recommendations.
Monitor and review phasing
Time impacts
Performance monitoring of contractors
Assist/Guide other project schedulers
Perform Training on scheduling concepts (preferred)
Prepare/Maintain Master Schedule (including parallel and roll-up schedules)
Requirements:
Software: Oracle Primavera P6 (v8 or newer), MS Office 2010 or newer, Windows 7 or newer.
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a construction scheduler with an emphasis in heavy civil, transportation, buildings, and marine-related construction;
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the construction industry in addition to the requirement above, in a role other than a construction scheduler;
Have a thorough knowledge of construction means, methods and equipment typically employed in the areas listed above;
Have advanced skills and proficiency with Primavera P6, or newer;
Be proficient in critical path construction scheduling and analysis.
