Located in Los Angeles or San Diego/Oceanside, CA What do you get to do in this position?

Technical leadership responsibility for all on-site activities, including, but not limited to: Diagnosing & correcting issues on the OASys 7.7 SCADA Master System Maintaining the OASys system by installing both Microsoft and OASys fixes Advising the customer on display changes and answering questions about system operability Diagnosing & correcting communication issues with field devices Developing reports on corrected issues on a weekly basis to both customer and Schneider Electric management Documenting recommended business practice changes with the customer Restore system functionality during critical events that cause downtime of the OASys SCADA system Qualifications We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.

This job might be for you if: Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or engineering (or related field with computer emphasis) 7+ years of SCADA experience 4+ years of experience with OASys on version 7.5+ 1+ year of experience with OASys 7.7+ highly desired Technical experience in Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) desired Understanding of electrical engineering principals, specifically on power systems is a strong plus Knowledge and experience with a strong compliment of the following: Windows 10 and Server 2016+ Operating Systems, OASys, C++, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, Perl, SQL, Networking, Diagnostic and Troubleshooting experience Proven capability in Software and System Development, System Integration, Documentation, Testing, Installation, Commissioning and Service Processes, and SCADA technology including an understanding of RTUs, PLCs etc.

Experience developing end-user applications and interfaces with an object-oriented programming language, such as C# for both the desktop and web.

Experience with SQL Server preferred.

Experience working with electric utility companies and/or the US government.
