Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a QUICK REACTION ANALYSIS TEAM LEAD/SYSTEMS ENGINEER to lead analysis in support of Front End of the Business (FEOTB) activities.
This individual will be a member of the Operational Analysis, Modeling & Simulation Engineering organization, but will work closely with Business Development and Strategy.
The responsibilities of this position include producing quick turn analysis demonstrating RIS understanding of customer problems and highlighting operational benefits of RIS products.
Their work products will be used to engage the customer, shape requirements, and increase competitive advantage.This individual will develop CONOPS and Use Cases showcasing RIS products in operationally relevant environments and conduct system performance assessments against current and projected threats using modeling and simulation tools.
This engineer must be innovative, creative, and highly motivated in order to communicate mission benefit of RIS products in a visually appealing manner that engages the customer.The candidate will leverage a network of subject matter experts to define suitable operational environments, define modeling requirements, interpret simulation outputs, and translate them into well-reasoned explanations.
Just as important, the analyst must be able to work under a timeline and be able to find the “good enough” answer, documenting assumptions as needed to meet customer engagement delivery timelines.
This Analyst will develop study plans, define MOE/MOPs and define modeling requirements.
They will lead teams of threat analysts, modelers, and system SMEs to ensure that the system performance is represented accurately in an operation context.
They will ensure the analysis is delivered within schedule and budget.

Citizenship and ability to access to US only data systemsDESIRED SKILLS:Knowledge of standard government developed tools including AFSIM, Suppressor, Brawler, EADSIM, ESAMS or similar.Recognized expertise in technical domain such as RF, EOIR, EW, BMC2, and/or Comms.Domain knowledge in Sensors (RADARS, EOIR, etc.), Network Communications, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control, and Resource Management is highly desirable.Experience with modeling and simulation of military systemsProficiency with scientific computing environments, models, and/or simulations such as the following: MATLAB, Simulink, MathCAD, AREPS, and NVIPMProficiency in Linux Environments.REQUIRED EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, or related technical field.
