You will develop the road map for high fidelity performance simulations that include multiple sensor channels, scene generation capability, control hardware, physical environment, embedded software, and system performance evaluation including pre-flight prediction, post flight matching, and verification and validation.

If you’re passionate about what you could accomplish here, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities to Anticipate:You will act as a strategic visionary who thinks about where a program or product line is heading or needs to go, while considering the technical aspects of how to get us there and then driving the execution of that strategy across multiple programsYou will be a strong advocate for technical integrity of modeling and simulation products across multiple programs and product linesYou will be viewed as an expert and serve as a consultant to the organization to help develop technologies to achieve organization growth targets in the area of modeling & simulation, algorithm development, or performance-related studiesYou will be the technical lead in a team environment on diverse projects, providing solutions to create high fidelity simulations and models for missile system design, performance assessment, flight test support, trade studies and evaluationsYou will work alone, or through oversight of teams, to solve the hardest Modeling and Simulation obstaclesYou will oversee a technical team, mentor engineers, and/or manage an engineering projectQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor’s Degree in engineering disciplines, natural or physical sciences, mathematics, or physicsWith a Bachelor’s Degree listed above, you must have twelve (12) years or more of documented work experience designing and performing analysis with high fidelity performance simulations, using tools for evaluation of data sets (A Master’s Degree will satisfy 2 years of work experience and a PhD will satisfy 4 years of work experience)Recent applied work experience coding in C/C++ (or other high order language) and UNIX/Linux based workstations.Must be the author of intellectual property (patent disclosures) or conference/journal publications in a modeling and simulation technical area within the past ten (10) years.Must have provided engineering expertise to previous programs by participating in project design reviews and/or peer reviews, including preparing/delivering technical briefings to internal stakeholders and external customersThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
