RN CCU Position Summary:
The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation while meeting competently all safe expectations of a nurse.

RN CCU candidate will possess the following education, licenses/certifications, and experience:

Mandatory:

  • Current RN License
  • Current BLS Provider

Preferred:

  • Acute hospital experience

Specific Unit Requirements:

  • ACLS: Required
  • BLS: Required

Training and/or experience:

  • Critical Care course preferred or equivalent knowledge and skills validated by demonstration.
  • Previous critical care/ open-heart experience preferred.
  • Unit Specific Technical Skills:
  • Hemodynamics
  • Temporary Pacemakers
  • Ventilator Management
  • ICP Monitoring
  • Chest Tube Management
  • ACT Testing
  • AV Sheath Removal
  • Central Line Management
  • Balloon Pump Certification
  • Open Sternotomy

Pay Range: $1.00 – $100.00

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
