You will be responsible for providing high quality, compassionate care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice and in the role as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA). This involves engaging in a wide range of activities related to ethics, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, professional practice evaluation, resources utilization, environmental health, and patient advocacy.
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, Operations Manager and Administrative Nurse, the Clinical Nurse III in Interventional Cardiology provides skilled assistance to physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Major functions include, but are not limited to, administering conscious sedation and other medications as directed by the attending cardiologist, scrub assist, circulating, hemodynamic monitoring and monitoring of patient responses during Adult, Pediatric, Diagnostic, Interventional and Electrophysiology procedures.

*Ability to cover all areas of radiology
*Ability to delegate tasks and promote leadership and teamwork
*Ability to educate patients, families, and staff regarding patient care issues
*Ability to implement and evaluate interventions
*ACLS and BLS required, PALS preferred
*Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
*Current and valid California RN license required.
*Previous ICU or IR/Cath experience
*Proficiency in completing physical assessments and developing a plan of care
*2 or more years of ICU or Emergency nursing experience required
*This position does work weekends, holidays, and has on-call responsibilities with an expectation of a 30min. response time
