Types of Services: Cardiac Telemetry Unit sees a lot of respiratory, renal, trachs, pegs and wound care – strong cardiac focus Will Accept Pending license: Yes Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4: 1 Monthly Department Volume: 300 per month Turnover Rate for Dept.: 2-3 days Skills from other units that they feel will prepare the candidate for their unit: Behavioral experience Culture/Management Style: Manager is very involved in staff development and a lot of nurses move from this unit to cardiac specialized units like cath lab/ OR, ICU, strong relationship between nurses and doctors, good peer to peer culture of inclusion.
