Please see our website for more job openings: Description:The successful candidate for this HF Electrical Engineering position will join a team of dedicated professionals who are responsible for supporting military communication products throughout their lifecycle (from pre-release to obsolescence).

This candidate will have experience and knowledge in RF design and support.Essential Functions:Analyze designs & issues and communicate technical information to Operations and Engineering managementTest and troubleshoot radio products and systems to component level and perform design changes to improve performanceDesign and analysis of circuits and components utilizing ADS and various design and simulation toolsWork closely with engineering teams to introduce new designs into manufacturingWork in cross-functional teams to meet manufacturability, testability and other DFx requirements for volume productionWork to mitigate component obsolescence and shortages through redesign of circuits and sub-assembliesDetermine design, process and test improvements to increase test yields and product qualityWork with vendors, Quality and Supply Chain teams to address material discrepanciesGenerate and deliver presentations for various levels of management regarding issues, investigations, improvements or cost savings in a concise manner along with outlining tradeoffsMentor junior and senior engineers both technically and career wiseQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Preferred Skills:Requires strong RF knowledge obtained through advanced education combined with experience.RF Power Amplifier and synthesizer design experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of organization & supplier baseUsing measurement devices such as spectrum and network analyzer, power meters, generators, etc.Experience with the troubleshooting of radio products and systems to component level and perform design changes to improve performancePractical LabVIEW experienceADS simulation experience with RF circuitsRF (broadband power amplifier, antenna coupler, receiver, exciter and filter) design experience from 100 kHz to 500 MHzExtensive familiarity with MIL-STD-810 environmental testingFamiliarity with MIL-STD-461 RFI/EMC requirements and testingBroad knowledge of project managementExperience with MS Office including advanced spreadsheet manipulation and presentation creation
