Job DescriptionRESIDENTIAL APPRAISAL OPERATIONAL LEADWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Residential Appraisal Operational Lead is primarily responsible for day-to-day operational oversight for residential appraisals, residential appraisal reviews, and alternative deliverables.

This position is responsible for effective throughput and efficiency implementation with consideration to data and reporting.

Key metrics will be analyzed, with consideration to KPIs, SLAs, efficiency implementation through use of available appraisal and evaluation tools, technology focused operational mindset required, with ability to deliver real time reports as needed for monitoring and tracking deliverables and team workflow.

Responsibilities include managing both operation process, planning, control, performance improvements, and operational strategy.

This role is the key liaison, while working closely with and reporting to the Chief Residential Appraiser.

Delegate tasks appropriately to ensure that department is operating efficiently, meeting service level agreements, while ensuring valuation quality and compliance; Key metric analysis and reporting; Monitor workflow data and provide meaningful reports regarding KPIs and SLAs.

Focused on vendor (appraiser and AMC) and staff volume, geographical data, and deliverable data, with enhanced reporting to department leads and Key LOB relationships; Identify process deficiencies and streamlining opportunities; Continuously seek out efficiency gaps and opportunities to mentor, train and improve skillset of staff; Third-party Oversight
– Vendor Management.

Ensure the bank’s valuation vendors are performing compliantly, and at acceptable service levels.

This includes continuous monitoring, evaluating and scoring vendor performance.

Also includes directly addressing quality, compliance and operational issues immediately.

This may also include compiling performance metrics, scoring and follow-up discussions at scheduled performance meetings; Responsively manage residential appraisal escalations from various business units throughout the Bank; Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Complete all required compliance training.

Maintain knowledge of and adhere to CNBs internal compliance policies and procedures.

Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies; Key residential appraisal and residential lending liaison; Works closely with the Chief Residential Appraiser.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDMust-Have*Bachelor’s Degree Business Management, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting or equivalent combination of education and appraisal experience Minimum 5 years of experience in residential workflow management on a national scale Minimum 5 years of experience with managing large, complex projects and programs Minimum 5 years of technical experience using analytics to solve business problems and applying analytic technologies to deliver value to the business.Skills and Knowledge Highly prefer Six Sigma Certification Ability to apply Six Sigma quality management principles and identify process deficiencies and streamlining opportunities.

Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members, management and colleagues.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) capable Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment with limited supervision.
