Dakota Financial is looking for an experienced Repossession Specialist/Asset Managment Coordinator. As a Repossession Specialist/Asset Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for remarketing Dakota Financial’s repossessed inventory for their truck/trailer and construction portfolio.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY DUTIES
- Coordinate with repossession agents and remarketing firms to try to recover our assets and resell them.
- Communicate with insurance companies to negotiate settlements.
- Support the tracking of inventory, costs and efforts associated with the sale of inventory.
- Support efforts to build liquidation network.
- Speak with customers and attorneys to negotiate revised payment plans and settlements.
- Calculate Early Payoffs and follow up with customers accordingly.
- Liaise with the various departments within the company to help facilitate a strong team effort and promote cross training.
- Act as a resource to others in the company.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in collections
- Strong proven communication and analytical skills
